I have not been doing a great job at keeping up with the blog this year, LOL! I am just so busy making content vs writing it these days!
So I am going to catch you up on some highlights.
January 2026
It was the 1 Year Anniversary of the Eaton Fire in Pasadena/Altadena. I covered so many events and also wrote a story for Pasadena Weekly.
It was a very emotional time as people try to rebuild their lives!

I also attended the Rose Parade, as I do every year. This was the first time this video went viral on my personal Instagram channel!
It was also the first time it rained in years during the parade, but I toughed it out for the shots! I gotta do it for the Gram 😉

I attended LA Mayoral Candidate Spencer Pratt’s campaign kick-off party! I am very for him to clean-up LA and make it safe again.
My political views are more moderate, so I am never anti-Republican or anti-Democrat. It really depends on the policy/views.
It is never easy when anyone runs of office, whether you are against the candidate or not. I always respect anyone who runs…I shook his hand and he is a very nice guy!

I headed over to Phoenix, AZ to see the Dodgers play the Padres at Camelback Ranch for Spring Training.
The Dodgers ended up winning 4-3 but Phoenix was having an abnormal heat wave in March with 90 degree weather at night – it was HOT!
I couldn’t even stay the whole game because I was so uncomfortable but I am glad I got to finally see a game at Camelback Ranch !
@kitkatw0706 Went to my first ever @Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training game against the Padres at Camelback Ranch in Arizona! 🏜️⚾️ The Dodgers beat the Padres 4-3. Arizona was also having an unexpected heat wave in March and I stayed for 6 innings before I decided to go home 🥵💙 The Regular Season starts next week…let’s go for 3! 🙌🏻 #dodgers #springtraining #MLB #dodgersbaseball #dodgersnation
Afterwards, I stopped by the San Xavier Del Bac Mission.
The mission was founded in 1692 by Spanish missionary Father Eusebio Kino and is one of the oldest European structures still in use in the Southwest. Nicknamed the “White Dove of the Desert,” the mission is known for its bright white exterior, stunning Spanish Colonial architecture and beautifully preserved frescoes and artwork.
Built with the help of the Tohono O’odham people, it remains an active Catholic church and one of Arizona’s most famous historic landmarks.
I also ended up making a day trip to Tucson, AZ to visit Saguaro National Park.
The park is famous for its towering saguaro cacti, which grow naturally only in the Sonoran Desert. Established as a national park in 1994, the park protects more than 91,000 acres of desert landscapes, scenic hiking trails and diverse wildlife like coyotes, roadrunners and bobcats.
The park is split into two districts on either side of Tucson and is especially popular for hiking, scenic drives, sunset photography and spring wildflower blooms. Some saguaros can live up to 200 years and grow over 40 feet tall, making them one of the Southwest’s most iconic sights.

I also stopped by Nancy Guthrie’s House to leave a yellow rose. She is the mother of NBC Today host Savannah Guthrie and is still missing as I type this.

Kanye (Ye) West was having a two shows at SoFi Stadium and I was lucky enough to get a ticket to the Friday night concert.
It was to promote his new album “Bully” and he also performed his classics – it was a 3 hour concert! He also brought special guests on stage including his CeeLo Green, Lauryn Hill, Travis Scott and his daughter, North West.

I also headed up to Norther California to visit Napa Valley, Sonoma, Lake County and Mendocino to film wineries for my wine channel, SoCal Uncorked.

I will mention four things I did for fun up north. One was the Mendocino Headlands Trail. The 4.8 mile hike takes 1 1/2 – 2 hours to complete. It’s known for its stunning ocean views, rugged bluffs and wildflowers and you can even spot sea caves, crashing waves and sometimes even migrating whales while walking!

I also got to walk up the tallest lighthouse on the West Coast called Point Arena Lighthouse, which was incorporated in 1870. With 144 stairs, the lighthouse offered breathtaking coastal views, whale watching opportunities and a glimpse into California’s maritime history.

Back toward the San Francisco area, I stopped by Point Reyes National Seashore. It is known for its rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, rolling hills and diverse wildlife such as elephant seals, tule elk and migrating whales.
I was able to walk underneath the Cypress Tree Tunnel that were planted in the 1930s and view the shipwreck that was washed ashore in 2016. I also saw the 1870 Point Reyes lighthouse that was 331 steps down!

Other than that, I have been filming a lot of content not just on my wine channel but my personal channel as well.

I also have been filming unique aspects of Pasadena, which includes Vintage Otis Elevators. The largest birdcage elevator on the West Coast is actually in Castle Green!
